Postgres konnte keine Verbindung zum Server herstellen

Nachdem ich die brew update y brew upgrade mein Postgres hat ein Problem. Ich habe versucht, Postgres zu deinstallieren und neu zu installieren, aber es hat nicht so gut funktioniert.

Dies ist die Fehlermeldung. (Ich erhalte diese Fehlermeldung auch, wenn ich versuche, die rake db:migrate )

$ psql
psql: could not connect to server: No such file or directory
    Is the server running locally and accepting
    connections on Unix domain socket "/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432"?

Wie kann ich das Problem lösen?

Mac-Version: Berglöwe.

Homebrew-Version: 0.9.3

Postgres-Version: psql (PostgreSQL) 9.2.1

Und das habe ich getan:

$ brew uninstall postgresql

Jetzt, nachdem ich Homebrew neu installiert habe, kann ich bei der Verwendung von $ psql Es wird keine Fehlermeldung angezeigt.

Aber ich laufe rake db:migrate in meiner Rails-App, zeigt es:

Endlich habe ich eine Lösung gefunden.

sudo mkdir /var/pgsql_socket/
sudo ln -s /private/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432 /var/pgsql_socket/

Diese Lösung ist ein wenig kompliziert, aber sie funktioniert. Hoffentlich hat jemand eine bessere Lösung

Update

Das funktioniert auch bei mir.

rm /usr/local/var/postgres/postmaster.pid

Die sicherste Methode zur Umgehung dieses Problems ist

brew reinstall postgresql

Dadurch bleiben Ihre Benutzerrechte usw. intakt und alles wird auf den neuen Stand zurückgesetzt. Funktioniert die ganze Zeit!

Prüfen Sie, ob die Socket-Datei existiert.

$ ls -l /tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432
srwxrwxrwx  1 you  wheel  0 Nov 16 09:22 /tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432

Wenn dies nicht der Fall ist, überprüfen Sie Ihre postgresql.conf auf Änderungen am unix_socket_directory.

$ grep unix_socket /usr/local/var/postgres/postgresql.conf
#unix_socket_directory = ''     # (change requires restart)
#unix_socket_group = ''         # (change requires restart)
#unix_socket_permissions = 0777     # begin with 0 to use octal notation

In meinem Fall wurde das Problem durch die Aktualisierung von Mac OS verursacht. Ein Upgrade von PostgreSQL löste das Problem.

# upgrade database version solved the trouble
$ brew postgresql-upgrade-database

Da dieser Fehler jedoch recht häufig auftritt und mehrere Ursachen haben kann, sollten Sie sich nicht vollständig auf meine obige Lösung verlassen.

  • rm /opt/homebrew/var/postgres/postmaster.pid
  • brew services restart postgresql
